Every year, my sister comes out spending the night, so the next day, she can do Bethany’s hair really cute for picture day. Well, as usual, we awoke late, like 30 minutes to school, late.
Not only that, I just assumed my sister would bring her supplies, but she didn’t so we had no hairspray or anything. Yup, a normal day of coping chaos, like I said, “As usual.” I, already accepting the fact we’d need retakes, jotted it on the calendar under November 3rd.
To my astonishment, we got her photos and they are gorgeous. Now, I’m not saying they wouldn’t be. She is a very gorgeous girl. It’s that I didn’t think the bed head was something as a parent, looking back on would be considered a picture day, success. But…I forgot, my kids are awesome and of course, rocked it!
I looked up on the wall and its scary how much she has changed in just a year. *Sniff Sniff*
To my Daughter, Bethany:
Yes, Baby Girl, your growing up and into a smart, loving and beautiful young lady! Thank you for the gift of allowing me to see the world more beautifully, through your eyes. There isn’t a day that goes by, that you don’t amaze me. I love you with all my heart.
Ah she did rock it she's beautiful! Oh man do remember school pictures from when we were kids, augh, they were awful, they have come a long way!!!
