I’m sick! James is sick! Everybody is going to get sick.
I blame it on school, since Bethany has started, we’ve already dealt with pink eye. Although, to be totally fair, I’m not sure where she got that. A friend reminded me that it’s caused from “Poop in your eyes.” She referred to us as “Poopy Eyes.” Gotta love your friends, keeping ya up when your down.
Now, it could be the flu, which is a paranoid guess, but this is how paranoid I am. If I sneeze we all have cancer, if anyone bruises, we are all anemic. If someone trips we all need bifocals. I’m horrible when it comes to the family being sick. I always think everyone’s going to die. My husband has way too much faith in our children’s immune system.
Example of my paranoia…
Me: “Check, see if she’s still breathing.”
Husband: “Shes fine.”
Me: “Is it labored breathing?”
Husband: “Uh, labored?”
Me: “I’ll just make an appointment, tomorrow.”
Husband: “It’s just snot.”
Me: “But, its green snot! That means infection!”
Husband: “Shes going to be fine.”
Me: How do you know? How DO YOU know??!!
Husband: {{Annoyed Sigh}}
Me: Can you promise that? Huh, can you? CAN YOU?!”
Anyway, we decline the flu shot each year. Really not a fan of all the “fancy” extras they add to the vaccines these days. In fact, I just had the same friend, who called us “Poopy Eyes,” who just took her son in for the flu mist and he ended up with his little head above the toilet for a day. You’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t. —> Poor little Mikey
My husband who is a B-I-G Sissy la la when it comes to pills, will enjoy a fever instead of breaking it with Tylenol. He so cute when trying to swallow them. He likes to do it in private and stands by the kitchen sink. It takes awhile before he’s done. I’ve always wondered what he’s thinking, probably “K, one… two…..no. Okay, one… two…three….go!” I should buy him some chewables.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that you are all sick! I am just like you and tend to overreact – why just last week, DS and I made a visit to the fire station to have his vitals checked because his chest was hurting (turned out to be gas…it's always gas according to a nurse friend of mine)
Hope you all feel better soon!!

In my house we refer to pink eye as "the junk", but know that I know it is caused by poop in the eye I might have to come up with a new name. Hope everyone feels better.

Thank you, me too!
Ha! Maybe you need to hide or disguise his pills in/with Peanut Butter?! What's he gonna do when he's a geriatric patient and has to take like 12 pills a day? Hope ya'll feel better!
Hey tell him to take pills with applesauce instead of a drink….so much easier. Also if you want to make a special tinkster to build the immune system….I can give you one. Plus it doesn't taste too bad.
Really, I will have to check that one out. It will still be difficult, being a man, he doesn’t want to admit he needs a little help, lol. What is it? We’ve been using EmergenC’s but I don’t think they are helping.
