Does Your Baby Scare The Crap Outta You?

I’m not kidding, every time I turn around Kadee has another “Yummy” in her mouth and I can’t seem to keep the floors clean enough.

Not only that, she has learned to furniture walk, but doesn’t yet know how to fall onto her bum and not straight onto the back of her head.

Is it wine time yet?

She is also learning how to stand on her own, this of course, has its own nightmares, but has to be done. I feel everyday is a battle to keep her bruise-less and it’s not ending well, at least you’d think it would be better with two other kids under my belt. I wish we could rubberize our entire house.

In our house, we have many stairs. I do my best to make sure the gate is cocked and loaded for her daily abuse, but I still stand there, worrying that one day, it wont survive.

If this isn’t enough, her knees are horrible. I make sure she’s wearing pants at all times, but it’s as if she’s growing thicker skin in this area now, like elephant skin! If she doesn’t kill herself, I will die of stress….either way, there will be casualties.

I think you should receive a box a wine for each child you have, weekly…its not too much to ask, if you survive them.

I hear you I am relaxed right now because Samuel is sound asleep beside me right now. It amazes me that I can sweep and mop the floor and he still finds something on the floor. In somethings I am much more relaxed but in other areas( maybe because my attention is divided between several children) I am much more stressed.

Never used baby gates. 2 boys, lots of stairs. Then again, we got smart and stopped at 2 – never let them outnumber you ;)

Best of luck with the box of wine requests, maybe if you occupied a playground the government would listen? ;)

You are a good Mama. Geez by number two as long as it wasn’t poison in the mouth, I was like, eh…I know. So my CPS moment about the stairs, which I was also uber careful about…no seriously. My daughter tumbled down twice in one day, yup great Mommy day. Happy to say she’s a genius and doesn’t take after her Mom!

Seriously I understand. John now likes to try to climb up on chairs and has succeeded a couple times. I was at my sis in laws house Saturday, (she has lots of breakable stuff) he kept touching these vases and watching me run over to stablize them. ACK!
